It truly was quite impressive! Various forms of art could be found including paintings, drawings, photographs, graphic arts, ceramics, video production, clothing designs, and even performances such as spoken word, music, and dance. Thousands of people visited Heritage Park on March 16th to see our district's students' (elementary, intermediate, and high school) art work on display.
The Third Annual Festival of the Arts was another smashing success. I thought you would enjoy a nice throwback to Old Corona. Immediately below you will see some screenshots taken from a video I came across on YouTube ( ). This year break will be April 1st-5th and school will resume on April 8th for the home stretch!
We have one more week before we get the opportunity to recharge our batteries. Just this past week we officially announced our valedictorian and salutatorians for the Class of 2019 (scroll down for picture)! Congratulations to Mikayla McMillan (valedictorian) and our six salutatorians: Matthew Nguyen, Emily Silvis, Jaci Glassick, Makenna Wells, Karina Sotelo, and Breanna Taylor! This is quite an accomplishment and I cannot be more proud of these Panthers for not only their high level of academic success, but each is also involved in at least one club, sport, or program in our school.
